The Immensity Of Mongolia’s Altai

Back in September and October, Eternal Landscapes arranged  the logistics for a photography workshop led by US based photographer Scott Davis.

The spectacular Altai formed the backdrop. Western Mongolia is dominated by the Mongol Altai Mountains. This major mountain chain is Mongolia’s highest – where summits reach 4000m plus and are covered with permanent snow, ice and glaciers. For me, within this incredible region of cold permanently glaciated peaks, alpine lakes and hidden valleys you feel as if time is standing still – these vast and timeless landscapes will make you think and reconsider your priorities.

This image was taken by one of Scott’s participants – Kairi Aun. Discover more of her work on her Instagram page.
